Interested in babysitting? The Hancock County Chapter of the American Red Cross (HCCRC) can help! Offering babysitting training courses throughout the summer, youth 11 to 15 ($85) are encouraged to enroll in the course to learn skills including performing basic childcare duties, handling bedtime or discipline and caring for common injuries. Participants may also choose to receive a certificate in infant and child CPR and first aid. In addition, the program also assists students in creating a resume, interviewing for prospective babysitting positions and keeping track of clients. The next course is offered on Monday, August 8, at the HCCRC Chapter House. For more info visit www.hancockredcross.org or call 419-422-9322. 125 Fair St.
