Sleeping through history

“Night at the Museum” is not just a Ben Stiller movie, it is also an amazing local event of summer fun and education for kids. This overnight extravaganza will allow kids a better understanding of Hancock County’s history through hands-on activities, games and crafts. Activities include presentations by museum staff in the characters of Hancock County Civil War and Revolutionary War veterans, German immigrants and more. Also, there will be a scavenger hunt throughout the museum. Pizza and other evening snacks will be provided, as will a light breakfast.

For ages 8-12. 7pm, Friday July 10 to 8am, Saturday, July 11. $50/non-members, $40/members.

The Hancock Historical Museum, 422 W. Sandusky St. 419-423-4433.
