A helping hand

Tired of having to do it all? Kim Zumberger wants to help. Zumberger, a former full-time nanny and house manager in Findlay, has started her own business called The House Nanny. Armed with an education degree and several years of nanny experience, Zumberger promises to take care of whatever home needs busy families have. Her childcare services include daytime and overnight babysitting as well as accompanying families on bigger outings and helping with maternity leave. Zumberger will also help with all types of house cleaning, including the messes associated with events and moving. House-sitting, errands, waiting for the cable guy, traveling, tutoring — The House Nanny takes care of the minutiae of daily life so families have more time for each other. “When I was a nanny I had a good idea of what I needed help with – I wish there were two of me sometimes,” says Zumberger. “Plus a lot of people in Findlay are transplants, and don’t have any nearby family to help.” Zumberger can also help senior citizens or those recovering from illness. Specific rates are listed on her website. For more information, call Zumberger at 937-489-9790. More information about her services can be found at www.housenanny.info or on Facebook.
