Take a trip back in time with the Hancock Historical Museum at its fifth annual Backstreet Festival. Spend the day browsing antique cars and bicycles or enjoy a variety of colors and patterns at the quilt show. Say “no” to the car for the afternoon and take a relaxing ride on a horse drawn carriage. Music and entertainment will fill the whole day. There will also be plenty of food, with chicken BBQ dinners ($8 a person), and a ‘beat the summer heat’ ice cream social the whole family will enjoy! Tours of the museum and its campus will be available, providing a chance to explore Hull-Flater House and its exhibits on glass manufactured in Findlay, historical social life, the Civil War and more. All proceeds from the event benefit the education programs at the Museum, including its various workshops and children’s programs. August 18. 10am-3pm.
