The equation – great shopping, great food and great children’s entertainment ‑ is just right for parents and kids alike at the 27th Annual Christmas in October craft show at the Hancock County Fairgrounds. More than 300 craft exhibitors and two dozen food vendors are slated. Kids can look forward to bounce houses, pony rides, face painting, Buttons the Clown and an appearance by Santa Claus himself. Crafts will be housed in 11 buildings, two big top tents and dozens of outdoor locations. All types of crafters and styles will be on site including Americana, Country, Primitive, Contemporary, Shabby Chic, Folk Art and more. “You can find just about anything,” said Judy Cloud, owner and promoter of Christmas in October. “It’s a nice event – it’s nice to see moms and friends and kids out there, families, or ladies making a fun day of it shopping together.”
