Who says that learning has to stop at the end of the school day?  Thanks to some Japanese and American students at the University of Findlay, a lot of learning is taking place after 3pm.

Genki-Kids Japanese Club is an after-school program designed to teach Japanese language and culture to students in grades 2-5.  Held from 4pm-5pm in the Davis Building 184, the program began on February 28 and will continue through Tuesday, April 5.

University of Findlay students are teaching the hour-long classes with direction provided by Dr. Hiro Kawamura, associate professor of Japanese. Teaching methods include songs, dance, games and other fun activities.

For information on current and future sessions, contact Dr. Kawamura at 419-434-4619 or via e-mail at kawamura@findlay.edu.
