Just scrappin’ it

Looking to test your imagination while preserving your special memories? The Scrapper’s Place, at 520 S. Main St. in Findlay, has the tools and the expertise to get your creative juices flowing.
Owned by Lisa Myers, the store offers a wide variety of scrapbooking, paper crafting and stamping supplies, as well as unique, custom die cuts. If you’re new to scrapbooking or are looking for inspiration, the store also offers classes in a variety of subjects, from card making to using 12×12 page kits. The classes vary in cost, from $10-25, with a monthly schedule available on the website, www.thescrappersplace.webs.com.
Myers says she’s “always been a scrapper,” but she is still learning. “There’s a lot of stuff I didn’t know.” To keep up-to-date on the latest designs and techniques, she takes classes herself, picks up ideas from vendors, and learns from other scrappers.
In December, The Scrapper’s Place began offering the Digital
Scrapbooking Giftware System, which creates personalized items from photos, logos, and words. Mugs and mouse pads are just a couple of the unique gift items available.
The store has also recently unveiled Custom School Albums, decorated specifically for local schools. Stop by the store to see this one-of-a-kind way to preserve your child’s school memories.
