Summertime and the livin’ is easy…well, for some of us that is. For the others, summer is a time to test their speed, endurance and sense of adventure. These active individuals will be given a chance to challenge themselves at the Adventure Challenge on Saturday, June 25.
Presented by Insanity Triathlon Club, the Adventure Challenge is the first summer event in the Jeep Adventure Series for the Findlay area. Participants (team or solo) will bike from Treadway Chrysler Dodge Jeep, 10305 St. Rt. 224 West, to Oakwoods and Litzenberg parks (approximately 20 miles.) But wait—that’s NOT the challenging part. Adventurers will then paddle a canoe for one mile, complete a 1-2 mile hike, then top off the day by biking through an obstacle course!
The Adventure Challenge is open to everyone. Cost is $45 per individual and $80 per team with the proceeds benefitting Cancer Patient Services and other local charities. Registration can be completed online at www.active.com. For more info visit www.jeepadventureseries.com or e-mail Carla at firstname.lastname@example.org.
